Lake Texoma Fishing License (Type 208): $12 - and Regulations
It is interesting to note that the state of Oklahoma is the controlling agency for the issuance of the Lake Texoma fishing license and the establishment of bag limits for all of the lake. Also realize that this license can be purchased locally at merchants on the Pottsboro pennisula only a couple of minutes from Dan's boat house.

- To fish in all waters of the Red River along the Texas-Oklahoma borders, a person must comply with the licensing requirements of Oklahoma as applicable.
- In Lake Texoma, a person may fish in the respective Texas and Oklahoma waters with the appropriate license from the respective state, or may fish the entire lake with a Lake Texoma fishing license as explained below.
- Lake Texoma License (Type 208): $12 - With this license, which is valid until December 31st following the date of issuance, a person may fish in both the Texas and Oklahoma waters of Lake Texoma without any additional Texas or Oklahoma fishing licenses.

- The Lake Texoma Fishing License (Type 208): $12 -- is for residents and nonresidents for fishing both Oklahoma and Texas portions of Lake Texoma. It is not valid below the Texoma Dam. It is the only license needed if Lake Texoma is the only lake fished. No other fishing license is needed. Same exemptions apply as for resident and nonresident fishing license.
